Business Development Assistant

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Reports to : VP of Business Development

Essential Job Duties:

· Morning tasks – carrier updates, including emailing and calling the carriers to update loads.

· Update customers with ETAs for outside work

· Update our internal special moves projections/loads sheet (includes carrier loads and outside work)

Daily Work:

· Enter loads from Business development/special moves team.

· Send out loads to operations.

· Put loads on the shared sheet.

· Send out necessary paperwork.

· Reach out to customers through customer contact emails.

Data Entry task:

· Enter dealer profiles.

· Enter all load info.

· Keep carrier profiles up to date (contacts/number/etc)

· Work on carrier required documentation with Quality.

· Fill out import forms/consolidate loads to send to inventory team.

·Suggested work-day – 8am-430pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Business Development: 1 year (Preferred)
